Three ways to carry it
| Format | Pack size | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Tin | 50 g | A reusable countertop format |
| Refill | 100 g | A refill format for the tin |
| GO | 5 g per stick; 20 sticks per box | Portable portion format. A full stick is not a universal recommended serving. |
Preparation, without guesswork
For a plain green tea powder, start with 1–2 g, sift, mix with 30–60 ml warm water and add milk or water to taste. This is a general preparation guide, not a validated serving instruction for the blend. Follow the finished product label when available.
Allergen & caffeine notes
Ingredient flag: None specified; verify the final label. Every current MATCHA blend includes green tea, so none should be described as caffeine-free. Exact caffeine and cross-contact information require a finished-product specification.
A fruit direction that still needs a clear tea description
Strawberry combines a fruit direction with green tea. It is useful to distinguish dried fruit powder from a fruit purée, syrup or flavoured beverage mix. Those forms differ in recipe behaviour, and a photograph of a strawberry milk drink does not establish which form is in a finished powder.
For a first recipe exploration, prepare the blend as instructed and taste it with a straightforward milk or water base. Add fruit or sweetener only after deciding what the base needs. An iced serving changes temperature and dilution as ice melts, so record the ice and final liquid as part of the recipe. Keep ingredient and allergen answers tied to the complete drink rather than the fruit name alone.
Choose the format around your routine
The 50 g tin is a countertop format, the 100 g pouch is the refill format, and GO provides portable 5 g sticks in a 20-stick box. Format and drink portion are different decisions. A full stick is not a universal recommendation for one cup; use the finished instructions and the recipe you intend to make.
For home, think about how often you will open the pack and where you will prepare the drink. For a serving team, think about consistency, lot identification and the ability to answer ingredient questions. A refill should retain its label information when transferred to the appropriate tin. Portable portions still need suitable storage and handling.
Plan powder use with clear arithmetic
For a plain-tea example, pack weight divided by powder per serving gives an approximate number of portions. This planning calculation excludes preparation losses and is not a serving instruction for this particular blend. Different finished products can require different amounts.
| Example powder per serving | 50 g pack | 100 g pack |
|---|---|---|
| 1 g | 50 portions | 100 portions |
| 1.5 g | About 33 portions | About 66 portions |
| 2 g | 25 portions | 50 portions |
